ROSACEA

Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin condition predominantly affecting those between the age of 30–60 years.

Rosacea is common and is characterized by persistent facial redness. It has two major subtypes including “papulopustular” which includes acne-like inflammatory spots, as well as “telangiectatic” which includes small blancheable blood vessels.

It can be triggered by a variety of factors including but not limited to:

  • Sun exposure

  • Extreme weather conditions

  • Alcohol

  • Spicy food
